Bistros

Join us at lunchtime or in the evening to share a convivial moment discovering the bistros and restaurants of Geneva. With cuisine from here and elsewhere, we promise great tasting experiences.

Books of the world

We meet once a month at the home of one of our members. Each participant in the group takes turns presenting a book by authors from around the world, in French or English.

Cinema

Once a month, we invite you to join our group in a cinema with a comfortable setting to watch films specially selected for you, in English with French and German subtitles.

Coffee club

Welcome and meet new members, present our groups, exchange useful information. We look forward to meeting you in an informal and friendly way over coffee/tea to answer your questions about Geneva and Switzerland.

Conferences - Debates

During the evenings, exceptional speakers will come to discuss current issues, including political, economic, international, ethical, and social. These exchanges will be followed by a "cocktail reception". We will also offer "zoom" evenings that will allow us to invite speakers from around the world.

Country walks

Discover our wonderful region on foot. We go walking in the Geneva countryside and usually finish with a light lunch in a nice little restaurant or at the home of one our members.

Flavours of the world

We invite you to come and taste dishes from all over the world, usually in the cozy setting of a private home. In turn, some volunteers, both Geneva and foreign members, will help us discover the specialties from their own region.

Gardens of the world

In season, we will visit some beautiful gardens in the company of their enthusiastic owners before having some refreshments together. Just because winter is upon us doesn’t mean we can’t dream about gardens. Come and join us for a series of talks on the art and history of gardens held in private homes in Geneva.

Geneva through your lens

Experience photography through a variety of approaches: practical workshops, exhibitions, reportage photography as well as the discovery of local landmarks and crafts. Just bring your camera or smartphone, no technical skills needed. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing creative moments together.

Heritage and discovery

This group invites you to discover the treasures of our region’s architectural and cultural heritage. We visit historic homes and interesting and unusual places in the Lake Geneva region. Once a year, we take you on a day trip: also a good opportunity to get to know each other better.

International company visits

This group organizes exclusive visits to the most important international companies in the region to discover their rich economic, industrial, technological, financial, and architectural heritage.

Two hours to practice your French and talk about current topics over an aperitif or coffee.

At lunchtime, join us for a friendly exchange with specialists on captivating and entertaining subjects, followed by a snack at members' homes in the city centre.

Museums, private collections, modern and contemporary art

Let yourself be tempted by our visits to museums and artists' studios. We’ll introduce you to knowledgeable collectors who will present their collections and tell us about their passions. Periodically, we organize trips to the art world’s big international fairs.

Music and dance

We invite you to attend competitions, master classes, rehearsals, ballets, operas, or concerts as well as musical moments in wonderful private homes.

Sundown drinks at home

Each season, an evening aperitif is organized in a private home in order to converse and exchange on various themes. A toast to friendship, an informal and convivial way to start the evening.

Watchmaking & jewellery

We organize exclusive visits to watch and jewellery manufacturers, showrooms, designers’ workshops and auction sale viewings as well as lectures on gemmology. Joining this group offers you an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the company of experts.
